  3. Session #3002- This is a session by Dan Mayer (may or not be related to John Mayer), and he is supposed to be awesome. I will definitely be checking it out! If it stinks, Shannon Boyd is responsible!

  4. Just as I posted on the 8th, I went to Dan Meyer's two sessions and he was as advertised. He is pretty awesome. His first session discussed perplexing. A perplexing question is one that a student doesn't know, but wants to know and believes he/she can figure out. He also warned us that perplexing doesn't always mean engaging. On Day 2, he elightened us on how our classrooms should be more like video games. There is too much to go into on this particular topic, but I will say one thing. He said, that the class should be more like a video game, not that we should use video games or gaming in the class. There is a distinct difference. He honestly motivated me this weekend
